What does the PMI PMP Certification provide?
PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification provides recognition of an individual's ability to meet specified standards in the field of project management. The certification process involves meeting minimum education/experience criteria, an examination, and a comprehensive review of the candidate's qualifications in the areas of education and professional experience.
PMICOC Exam Preparation
To help you pass the PMP certification examination successfully, the PMI Central Ohio Chapter offers Exam Preparation seminars at the PMICOC Board Room, 1335 Dublin Road, 35A, Columbus OH 43215. The objective of these seminars is to assist the candidate in preparing for the certification exam. The exam covers the knowledge areas defined in PMI's Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). The seminar is intended to be a series of review sessions for the exam and is not an introductory course in project management. Candidates should have some experience in project management prior to attending the seminar.
Our longest running and most popular course! Topics covered in this class are aligned to the PMBOK® covering the knowledge areas and project management processes. This alignment helps to ensure you receive the best training possible for passing the PMP® exam. You must meet the eligibility requirements which includes 35 contact hours of formal education (see www.pmi.org › Home › Certification for all eligibility requirements). Classes are available in day (one-week boot camp) or evening (ten weeks) and taught by PMP® certified and experienced instructors.
