The mission of PMI Central Ohio Outreach committee is to provide meaningful opportunities for our members to significantly impact their communities.
How To Get Involved
Central Ohio Nonprofit Organization Support

Serve as a volunteer project management resource

Provide project management training
Examples of the work associated with nonprofit support include:

General project oversight

Creating and leading training programs centered on project management principles

Development and execution of projects

Development of processes and procedures

Covering all aspects of a project from initiation to closure

Creation and maintenance of documents such as meeting minutes, decision papers, actions items, etc
Mentorship
Mentor a junior PM or aspiring PM through their career journey, preparing for the PMP exam and/or tackling a tough project at work
College Connection
Work with colleges and universities to develop project management groups and programs
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Foster a culture of DE&I in the PM profession through focus groups, events, PMICOC board representation, corporate partnerships, etc.
