About Professional Development Day
PMICOC's Professional Development Day (PDD) is the pinnacle event for project management professionals in Central Ohio. It offers a curated agenda of keynote presentations, breakout sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, all designed to enhance skills and knowledge.

We welcome over 600 project professionals from a variety of industries like Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, Technology & IT Services, Consulting & Professional Services, Government & Public Services, Engineering & Manufacturing, Education, Financial Services, and Banking.

2025 PDD Call for Presentations is Open!
We seek to bring together renowned thought leaders, groundbreaking innovators, and seasoned practitioners to share transformative insights that define the future of project management by inviting them to share at our global events. From emerging AI trends and essential leadership strategies to cutting-edge tools for success, our call for presentations is a prestigious opportunity to engage and inspire a global audience at the forefront of the industry.

Our “Call for presentations” is to allow our community and industry experts the opportunity to submit for the chance to speak. Our call for presentations is open to anyone with an insightful or unique perspective on managing projects and people.

To be considered for a chance to speak at PMICOC's 2025 Professional Development Day, please submit the '2025 PDD Call for Breakout Presentations' form by midnight on February 21, 2025.

Rules of Engagement

​​​​Only presentation proposals submitted online and by the published deadline will be considered.

While more than one presentation proposal may be submitted, please note that acceptances are limited to a maximum of one per person.
-
One co-presenter may participate and co-presenter information must be shared at time of submission.
-
Submitter is the lead presenter and primary point of contact. Lead presenter is responsible for sharing communications from PMI Speaker Team with co-presenter.

Use clear, error-free language and note word limits for titles and descriptions.
-
PMICOC retains the right to modify titles and descriptions for marketing purposes.
-
Avoid all commercial bias; content is to be educational in nature, neutral and unbiased, free of commercial motive/intent.

Priority given to presentation proposals that include original content that has not been presented elsewhere. ​
​Accepted Presenters:

Must adhere to published deadlines (see chart above for milestones)

Will prepare a draft presentation that will be reviewed by subject matter experts

Must observe any intellectual property rights
-
Must register for the event; registration is complimentary for a lead presenter. A co-presenter will be offered a discounted registration rate.

We cannot consider proposals that just include a link, ambiguous text about speaking on any topic, etc.

Consider the audience
When formulating your proposal, keep in mind who you would present to and how they can learn from your session.
