Professional Certifications

PMI offers a number of professional certifications that demonstrate an individual’s proficiency and expertise in the subject matter area.  The most popular certification is the Project Management Professional (PMP®) which is recognized around the world as the leading credential for professional project managers.  PMI offers additional certifications in the areas of Business Analysis, Risk Management, Agile, and Program Management.

The certification process involves meeting minimum education/experience criteria, an examination, and a comprehensive review of the candidate's qualifications in the areas of education and professional experience.
